This a great opportunity for Brownies to earn a badge in one 2-hour workshop! We will hand build with clay, and learn about painting and decorating pottery as well. Maximum of 12 girls per workshop. Brownies – $35/Scout Brownies will earn their Potters Badge by making pottery out of wet clay, plus a bonus trefoil ornament! Along with that they will learn pottery glazing techniques on a tile before they paint a project. Girls will also learn about different types of ancient pottery, how glazes work and tour the kiln room. At the end they will have earned their Potters Badge from their troop leader along with a Color Me Mine participation patch.
